Philip Kalus has 33 years’ experience in the asset management industry. Since the incorporation of accelerando associates, which Philip founded in 2004, he has served some of the world’s largest asset managers and many of Europe’s best fastest growing fund boutiques as a consultant on European fund distribution. With well over 500 B2B media features, he is an established thought leader and regularly quoted in tier one publications internationally.
In 2024, Philip sold accelerando associates to Acolin, which was later acquired by Broadridge. Philip continues to advise Broadridge as a senior external consultant. Earlier in his career, Philip worked in European fund sales in London and as a fund manager in Frankfurt.
In his private life, Philip is an engaged member of the Rotary Club of Valencia, founded in 1928, and has served the club twice as president and as a multi-year board member. Apart from that, Philip loves beaches, the sea, arts and much more.
Marie Luna Kalus

Marie Luna Kalus has 5 years full-time experience in asset management and fund distribution consulting.
She is also a certified professional cellist and is finishing her studies in Organisational Psychology. Marie Luna speaks 5 European languages fluently, reflecting her multicultural background and international upbringing.
Her focus areas include qualitative research, insight interpretation, strategic communication, human behaviour, and decision-making processes. She explores the underlying drivers of attitudes and behaviours, ultimately enabling more informed decisions, shaping effective strategies, and delivering meaningful and measurable impact.

We work under strict NDAs and we do not display any client names.
Nonetheless, there is one fascinating commonality among the majority of clients at our previous ventures: They are all open to being challenged, aiming to constantly improve and enhance their effectiveness and efficiency in European fund distribution. They also tend to be very successful.
Interestingly, almost all clients in previous ventures have come to us. In fact, we worked for many years at full capacity without any outbound sales roles in place. We are naturally extremely proud of the level of trust we have earned and the longevity of our relationships in the industry.
